Dream Sheep — Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Dream Sheep ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kürşat Turgut ("we," "us," or "our"), an individual developer based in the Republic of Turkey.
2. Eligibility
The App is intended for users aged 18 and older. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. The App generates stories for children; however, only adults may create accounts, make purchases, and manage the App.
3. Account and Credits
Anonymous Access: You may use certain features without creating an account. An anonymous session is created automatically on first launch.
Credits (Stars): The App uses a virtual credit system called "Stars." Stars are required to generate stories and optional add-ons such as illustrations and narration.
Welcome Bonus: New users receive 30 free Stars (once per device).
Purchases: Stars are available for purchase in packages (100, 250, or 500 Stars). All purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies.
No Cash Value: Stars have no monetary value outside the App and cannot be transferred, traded, or redeemed for cash.
4. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal (In-App Purchases)
Subscription Plans: We offer "Weekly Pro" and "Monthly Pro" subscription plans that provide a recurring allocation of Stars.
Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
Renewal Charges: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal.
Cancellation & Management: Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Free Trials: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.
Unused Stars: Subscription Stars do not roll over between billing periods.
5. AI-Generated Content
No Guarantee of Accuracy: Stories, illustrations, and narration are generated by artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude, Leonardo AI/fal.ai, ElevenLabs). AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, unexpected elements, or creative interpretations.
Pedagogical Intent: While we design prompts to produce age-appropriate, educational content, we do not guarantee that every output will meet specific educational standards.
Parental Oversight: We strongly recommend that parents review AI-generated stories before sharing them with children.
No Professional Advice: Content generated by the App does not constitute medical, psychological, educational, or any other professional advice.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
Attempt to generate content that is violent, sexually explicit, hateful, or otherwise harmful to children.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to interact with the App.
Circumvent any security features, including the parental gate.
Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit generated content without our written permission.
Violate any applicable law or regulation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
7. Intellectual Property
Our Property: The App, its design, source code, branding, and all original content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
Your Content: Stories generated using the App are created for your personal, non-commercial use. You retain a non-exclusive, personal license to use, share, and print your generated stories.
AI Output: AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright protection in all jurisdictions. We make no representations regarding the copyright status of AI-generated stories, images, or audio.
8. Termination and Account Deletion
By You: You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion, all your data including generated stories, profile information, and purchase history will be permanently removed within 30 days.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the App services.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your license to use the App ceases immediately. Unused Stars are forfeited and non-refundable.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
